Our Mission
At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to inspire and transform communities across the nation. We are dedicated to building revolutionary, energy-efficient homes that harness the power of cutting-edge technology.
Our innovative approach to home construction goes beyond mere aesthetics; it is a movement aimed at reducing our carbon footprint and nurturing a sustainable future for generations to come. Each home we create is not just a shelter; it’s a testament to quality and durability, designed to stand the test of time far beyond the limits of traditional stick-built houses.
Join us on this journey to redefine the way we live and build, and together, let’s create vibrant communities that thrive with purpose and sustainability.
The Process
Traditional Stick Built
Hiring a General Contractor to construct a stick-built home is a straightforward process. These professionals have the expertise to take any set of architectural drawings and begin the construction seamlessly.
Throughout the building process, any necessary changes can be easily addressed and implemented. Once the contractor secures the required permits, they will promptly clear the lot and kick off the building phase.
Typically, the timeline for erecting a stick house can vary between six to twelve months, depending on the extent of modifications made during construction.
The Legacy Difference
The construction of a LEGACY home involves a more intricate process. Before we can begin building or even break ground, several key elements must be in place:
-
Survey
-
Architectural Drawings
-
Renderings
-
Soil Testing
-
Engineered Drawings
-
Shop Drawings
The timeline for this initial phase can take up to 24 weeks, depending on how swiftly the client approves their architectural drawings. It’s important to note that LEGACY cannot start clearing the lot until these tasks are fully completed.
Once we have all the required approvals, we can pull the necessary permits and initiate the construction process. The exciting news is that once we break ground, the construction phase can be completed in as little as 8 weeks, at which point we will receive a Certificate of Completion/Occupancy.
